Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 8, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information Mazdoor Hub India ("we", "us", "the platform") collects when you register as a worker or use our search feature, and how that information is used, stored, and shared.

1. Information We Collect

  • Mobile number — used to verify your identity via OTP and to let employers contact you.
  • Name, category, experience, rate, location (state/district/pincode) — used to build your public profile and show up in search.
  • Profile photo, work photos, and work videos — used to showcase your work to potential employers.
  • Consent status — whether you agreed to show your number via the "Call Now" button.

2. How We Store Your Data

All data is stored using Google Firebase (Firestore Database for profile details, Firebase Storage for photos/videos, and Firebase Authentication for phone verification). Firebase applies industry-standard security practices; however, no online system can be guaranteed 100% secure.

3. Who Can See Your Information

  • Your name, category, location, rate, photos, and videos are publicly visible to anyone who searches on the platform.
  • Your mobile number is hidden by default and only revealed when someone taps "Reveal Number & Call" on your profile.
  • Platform administrators can view and manage your profile (for example, updating your badge).

4. Third-Party Services

We use Google Firebase to run this platform. Firebase's own privacy practices apply to data it processes on our behalf — see Firebase's Privacy and Security policy.

5. Your Rights

You can update your profile at any time using the "Update Profile" option with your mobile number and OTP. To request deletion of your profile or data, email us at mazdoorhub.india@gmail.com with your registered mobile number.

6. Grievance Officer

In accordance with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines) Rules, 2021, the details of the Grievance Officer are provided below:

Any complaints regarding content, data privacy, or misuse of the platform may be addressed to the Grievance Officer, who will acknowledge and act on it as per applicable law.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.

This page is a general template and does not constitute legal advice. Consider having it reviewed by a lawyer familiar with Indian data protection law (including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023) before launching publicly.
